Normally I’m more of a reading/watching geek than a “oh hey, I’m going to buy this” geek. That’s probably because of a general lack of funds. But I’d put aside a little money for pleasure shopping (mostly from Cthulhus), and this last week a bunch of things I’ve ordered came in. I’m excited.
Tribble from Think Geek
High-fiving a Cthulhu:

It was also kind of a hit at work. Since I work in the back, it got to sit on my desk & occasionally warble.
Fleet of Toasters t-shirt by AutumnBuck
This shirt is a fleet of toasters as conceived by @autumnbuck:

Fleet of toasters. Get it? *expectant grin*
Cthulhu from Tee Fury
When Cthulhu showed up on tee fury courtesy of Miss Monster Mel, I was pretty excited. He’s pictured below with two of my little guys. Sunshine Cthulhu is distracted by something slightly to the right.

Dragon Chow Dice Bag
There are some really awesome dice bags at Dragon Chow, made by @GeekyLyndsay. I was going to buy one for my Cthulhu Dice, but then decided I wanted it for my regular dice & would make my own for Cthulhu Dice.

I really like the clasp. Don’t want my dice falling out!

Cthulhu Dice Bag
Ok, this one I made. I had just enough yarn leftover from a Cthulhu skein and threw in a couple of black stripes to make it interesting. Thanks again to Chronic Geek, who gave away the dice.

Not pictured – I finally got the Blue Sun t-shirt from ThinkGeek.
Whew! That ends my consumption for a spell. I love how much geeky craftiness/artistry is going on out there, both from companies like ThinkGeek and from ordinary people (awesome) sharing their talents.

Oh Man, The Flying Toast + BSG mashup shirt is one of the best shirts I’ve seen in a while.

I really enjoyed this post! I have to skimp in some areas to afford my geeky habits (like I don’t have cable, lol). It’s worth it! I love that dice bag you made. Very cool.
